The buggy is the workhorse of the desert: it hauls ore and carries its own cutteray. Here are the best parts for every slot — the top tier and the uniques, with what they give.

What to pick

  • For mining: 6Focused Buggy Cutteray Mk6 — Gives more ore from every node at the cost of extra heat. The best part for mining from a buggy.
  • For hauling: 6Bigger Buggy Boot Mk6 — Holds more cargo than the regular storage. Take it for mining and hauling so you unload less often.
  • For PvP: 6Buggy Rocket Launcher Mk6 — Mounts on the utility rear and turns the buggy into a combat vehicle for Deep Desert PvP.
  • For hopping between nodes: 6Bluddshot Buggy Engine Mk6 — Accelerates faster than the regular engine, so it shines when you drive node to node with constant stops.
  • For long drives: 6Rattler Boost Module Mk6 — Generates less heat than the regular booster but feels sluggish while cool. Fine for long drives; for bursts in a fight the regular Mk6 booster is better.

Tips

  • For mining, fit the utility rear with a cutteray plus storage: without storage there is nowhere to put the ore.
  • Bluddshot for driving node to node, the regular Mk6 engine for long trips.
  • The Focused Cutteray runs hotter, so watch your heat on big nodes.
