A sniper rifle decides the fight before the enemy closes in: big damage per shot and a range of over 70 metres. Here are the ones really worth taking and why.

What to pick

  • For PvP: 6Dunewatcher — The classic scoped sniper with the hardest-hitting shot among spitdart rifles; its poison gets through shields, so targets keep losing health even when protected.
  • All-round pick: 6Blind Fury — The longest effective range of any rifle and 5 darts instead of 2–3, but no scope. It suits players who land headshots without zoom and want to keep an eye on their surroundings.
  • All-round pick: 6Regis JABAL Spitdart — The regular, non-unique scoped poison sniper; it holds 3 shots instead of Dunewatcher’s 2, so it forgives a miss.
  • Early game: 4Long Shot — An accessible early scoped poison sniper that clears camps from a distance before enemies get close.
  • Early game: 3Assassin's Rifle — The earliest poison sniper: its dart bursts on a shield and lets the poison drift through.

Tips

  • Snipers hold 2–3 darts and reload slowly: shoot first, then change position.
  • One hit won't drop a shielded target — poison adds damage over time, so keep the pressure on or finish with a shield-piercing weapon.
  • Blind Fury has no scope, but you never lose sight of your surroundings — useful wherever someone could sneak up on you.

Ranking

Each group lists the best options from best to worst: what each one is for and its in-game numbers. If something isn’t listed, it isn’t worth taking.

This Unique rifle toys with a third concept — poison delivered in a small explosive dart that explodes on contact with a shield, allowing it to waft through.

Damage per second is the damage of one shot or hit multiplied by the fire rate. Reloading isn't counted here, so for a long fight watch the magazine too.
