The best wreck fields are the Southwest Ironworks (176 nodes nearby), the Northwest Ironworks and the Wreck of the Pallas. For containers, Khidr's Shadow has 22 that always drop them. Big wreck pieces need any cutteray; small cells are picked up by hand.

What Fuel Cells are used for
Base power. The Fuel-Powered Generator (45 Salvaged Metal) gives 75 power and burns Fuel Cells. Keep it topped up: when the fuel runs out, the base loses power.
Vehicle fuel. Vehicles run on Vehicle Fuel Cells, which you refine from raw Fuel Cells:
