Mechanical Parts come from shipwrecks. In Hagga Basin, The Wreck of the Pallas has 26 containers at 99.7 %, and the Wreck of the Ourea has 24 at 100 %. The Kytheria, Alecto and Limos wrecks follow. In the Deep Desert, Unrecovered Shipwrecks and big named wrecks drop them at 100 %. Every gun in the game needs them.

The parts are tier 1, but they go into 109 weapon recipes, from a starter Karpov 38 to a tier-6 lasgun. The higher the tier, the more you need, so this is one component you never stop farming.

Farming tips

  • Start at the Pallas, then fly on to the Kytheria and the Alecto with its two camps.
  • Bring a cutteray to the Pallas. The wreck is also one of the best Salvaged Metal and Fuel Cell fields in Hagga Basin, so you fill three lists in one stop.
  • Go to the Ourea only with a suit, and farm slag and parts in one run.
  • In the Deep Desert, a big Unrecovered Shipwreck gives about half of what the Pallas does. Bring friends: the Deep Desert allows PvP, and wrecks draw other players.
  • You can trade spare parts on the market. For deeper wrecks, read the Deep Desert guide first.
