Ray Amplifiers come from loot in Hagga Basin outposts, where the best containers drop them at 100%. Go to Abernath's Descent or The Stairway (10 containers each), or The Spiral (8). The Deep Desert has some too, but at 33% at best. You need them for every Cutteray from Mk3 to Mk5.

Story instances (Wind Pass, The Broodworks, The Ruins of Tsimpo, Smuggler's Run, Blushing Cavern) also drop them at 10.8%. Hagga Basin outposts are far better than any of these.
