Imperial Testing Stations are Old Imperium labs, the main dungeons of Dune Awakening. Hagga Basin has 14 of them: No. 2, 10, 13, 17, 23, 29, 60, 63, 71, 76, 117, 142, 163 and 197. They are the best source of Particle Capacitors and Advanced Servoks, and also drop Solari and unique gear. Bring a weapon, healkits and a cutteray.

Inside you find shigawire recordings of the old researchers, colour-coded ID bands that open locked doors, water taps, NPC squatters and, in the bigger stations, a boss room at the end.

"Containers" counts the lootable boxes, lockers and chests at each station. Unique items such as Callie's Breaker or Firestorm are chance drops, not guaranteed. Small stations like No. 10 and No. 17 are quick solo runs; No. 142, 163 and 197 are long and go much faster with a group.

Imperial Testing Station No. 2

This is the starter station, next to Griffin's Reach and Derek Chinara's camp. The Planetologist questline sends you inside to retrieve a film, so most players run it early. Locked shield doors need keys found inside the station. One of them sits on a box in the room where you find it, so look around before you leave a room.

Imperial Testing Station No. 197

The biggest station in Hagga, with 86 containers. Particle Capacitors drop here at 99.6% across 15 containers, and Advanced Servoks are there too. It is also where the advanced Planetologist trainer waits. See classes and trainers. Bring a Holtzman shield and plenty of healing.

Imperial Testing Station No. 163

A large station with 53 containers: Particle Capacitors at 100% in 7 containers, plus Advanced Servoks, Insulated Fabric and 21 containers with Solari. It sits next to Mendek's Shithole, the richest Solari stop on the map, so clear both in one trip. See how to make Solari.

Imperial Testing Stations No. 23 and No. 63

How to get through an Imperial Testing Station

Imperial Testing Stations in the Deep Desert

The Deep Desert has its own numbered stations (their numbers change from week to week) plus Buried Testing Stations. They drop higher-tier loot: Buried Testing Stations are among the few sources of Spice-infused Plastanium Dust. The map changes with every Coriolis storm, so find this week's stations with the live finder instead of old coordinates:

Read the Deep Desert guide before you fly in. It is PvP outside the safe sectors.

How many Imperial Testing Stations are in Hagga Basin?

Fourteen: No. 2, 10, 13, 17, 23, 29, 60, 63, 71, 76, 117, 142, 163 and 197.

Which testing station is best for Particle Capacitors?

No. 197 has Particle Capacitors in 15 containers at 99.6%, and No. 142 has them in 13 at 100%. Nos. 60, 163 and 76 are close behind.

Where is Imperial Testing Station No. 2?

In Hagga Basin South, next to Derek Chinara's camp near Griffin's Reach Tradepost. The Planetologist questline starts there.

Do Imperial Testing Stations respawn?

Yes. Containers refill over time, so you can run your favourite stations again. Plan a loop of nearby stations.

What do I need to clear a testing station?

Weapons, healkits and a cutteray for the cut-through doors. Pick up the coloured ID bands inside to open the locked doors.
