Dune Awakening has only one real number lock: the five dials in Phaedra Vye's apartment, code 10194 (From the Ashes). The other passwords are 19743D6 for PAL (Secrets of the Past) and Liberation / Preservation for the Tsimpo relays (Expedient Politics). Everything else is a spoken passphrase, an order puzzle or a dialogue answer. All of them are below.

How codes work in Dune Awakening

You almost never type anything. Once you've found the clue, a password or passphrase shows up as a dialogue option at the terminal, guard or NPC. The one exception is the apartment lock in From the Ashes: five dials, each with an Up and a Down button, that you turn to 1-0-1-9-4. If the option you need isn't there, you've usually skipped the note, recording or conversation that gives it to you.

No code here: where players search in vain

  • The Deep Desert cave in sector B-5 (FROM THE ASHES). It's the "underground place" of the murder case, but you only pick up clues there: the valet's Cryptic note and the torn manifest page. The desert around it changes every week, so read the Deep Desert guide before you fly in.
  • Osten's workshop (TOUCH OF EVIL). The door opens with an ID band from the top floor of the Sandflies base, west side. There is no keypad.
  • Testing stations, ecolabs, shipwrecks and Deep Desert dungeons. Their doors use ID bands, pentashield keys and switches, never number codes. The puzzle room in Ecolab 152 is a power switch puzzle. Where each band drops: ID bands and keycards and Imperial Testing Stations.
  • "myfirstlove" at the banquet. A dead noble carries carved teeth that spell it out. It's flavor and opens nothing.
  • The Salusan Bull private room. Ugo Firenze lets you in once you've told him Tors sent you. No passphrase needed.
  • Landsraad terminals. Wind Pass consoles, including the Master Terminal's "Enter the Chief Engineer's credentials", are plain options. Only the Tsimpo relays ask for a word.
  • The Scourge (2026). The Halloween event has no codes. See the Scourge event guide.

Keep a poison snooper in your bag through the Great Convention. You need it for Osten's book, in Phaedra's apartment and at the banquet.

What is the code in Phaedra's apartment in Dune Awakening?
  1. Turn the five symbol dials behind the painting on the right wall to 1-0-1-9-4. The year comes from the Old Carthag schematics in Osten's workshop.
Is there a code in the Deep Desert cave in From the Ashes?

No. In the B-5 cave you only collect the valet's Cryptic note and the torn manifest page.

What is PAL's passcode?

19743D6. You hear it on Arn Mikals' recording in the lab under Imperial Testing Station No. 163, and it then appears as a dialogue option.

What are the Expedient Politics codes?

Liberation for the Atreides relay in Arack's house and Preservation for the Harkonnen relay in Greyr's house, both in the Ruins of Tsimpo.

Do I have to type codes in Dune Awakening?

Almost never. Passwords appear as dialogue options once you've found the clue. Only the apartment lock in From the Ashes uses dials.
